Role & responsibilities

HMC Machine Operation and Setup:Operate Horizontal Machining Center (HMC) machines to produce precision components.Set up machines with appropriate tools and fixtures for specific jobs.Programming and Offset Adjustment:Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for HMC operations.Adjust tool offsets to ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications.New Product Development (NPD):Collaborate with the engineering team during New Product Development projects.Provide input on manufacturability and machining feasibility.Shop Floor Supervision:Supervise shop floor activities to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.Provide guidance and support to machine operators and technicians.Quality Assurance:Implement quality control measures to ensure components meet design specifications.Conduct regular inspections and coordinate with the quality control team.Training and Development:Train new machine operators on HMC setup, operation, and programming.Provide ongoing skill development opportunities for the team.
