Role & responsibilities
Conventional Machine Operation:Operate Conventional Milling, Grinding, and Lathe Machines with precision.Set up machines for specific tasks, adjusting tools, and ensuring proper machine calibration.CNC Machine Operation:Program, set up, and operate CNC Grinding and Lathe Machines.Interpret technical drawings and implement CNC programs for efficient machining.Quality Control:Conduct regular inspections of machined components to ensure they meet specified tolerances.Implement quality control measures and make adjustments as needed.Tooling and Setup:Select and install appropriate cutting tools, grinding wheels, and fixtures for machining tasks.Optimize machine settings for efficiency and quality.Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.Identify and report any safety hazards promptly.Documentation:Maintain detailed records of machine settings, tool changes, and production output.Document any adjustments made during the machining process.Team Collaboration:Collaborate with other machinists, engineers, and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement.Implement best practices for both conventional and CNC machining.
